About Me

Hello there! I'm Chelsea Tang, currently freelancing under the name Whimsy, LLC. I graduated from Full Sail University in Florida and somehow found myself in the Pacific Northwest married, raising kids, and working for some very interesting corporations. The last 10 years have been spent in the technology industry balancing art and technology. People and art are my passions, and technology seems to be the glue that mashes them together in this town. I won't lie, I love it.

When I'm not building web pages, designing mobile apps, or making fun vector art, I can be found sewing, chasing small children, or helping my husband remodel our house (because tearing out a wall or a toilet is so much more therapeutic than tearing out old webpages). I've spent the last couple of years working for brands like Microsoft, Amazon, AT&T, and Samsonite. I can take pieces of projects and work in a team of Designers, or I can start with your client and begin with UX, moving through wireframes, design, production, and final hand off to Development. I ask a lot of questions, I love details, and I want to know the intent and purpose of what I’m creating for you. I learn quickly, I work hard, and pride myself in teaming with Developers to make their work as easy as possible.
